Prim and Tia Adventures 8

Well, it has been quite some time since our gnomish friends stood and gazed back at the dragon’s fire lighting the sky …

What can I say, I got distracted. I will elaborate more after the Adventure. In the meantime, I wish to give a special shoutout to We Are All Mad Here. Details below.

Without further ado, we present Prim and Tia Adventures 8. (Also, with the collected Adventures 1-8, for convenience.)

Finished? Then here is the commentary.

This commentary will largely focus on my own foolishness. Buckle up!

Into each life, a little rain must fall. Which is to say, I let myself get a bit grumpy for months. Ridiculous, but inevitable, I suppose. Anyway, my innate cheerfulness (where do you think I find the way to scribe Prim?) shoved my bad mood aside, mostly. Unfortunately, it came out in my scribblings!

Oops!

And it was We Are All Mad Here who noticed something … off … about Prim in Reflections III, the latest Tale I had scribed. She was … passive. Mopey.

Rather unfun, even.

While I initially denied any such thing … Ha, well, he was right.

And the worst is … Prim was supposed to be mopey for three, maybe four Adventures! I had this planned for a year or two, and Prim was going to be rather miserable. It seemed I had developed an urge to bring the ever-cheerful Prim down a peg or three.

As a wise man once said, “What’s up with that?”

After considering it all for a few weeks, the obvious finally clicked in my microscopic little mind: Prim is CONFIDENT and CHEERFUL, ya ninny!

And then Adventures 8 popped out, more or less just like that. Seriously. Nothing for a month, then poof, out this comes in two evening’s effort. Six hours, maybe. And at the end, Prim returns.

Now about the actual Adventures: This was the one where Tia gets to shine. The Dragon has Prim down, and Tia steps up to save them both. We are introduced to the concept of the gnomish knack. (I almost put it in italics, but nah.) Anyway, I thought gnomes should have something special, to distinguish themselves from the other folk. I may have scribed a bit about “every gnome having a connection with nature” before, but that is kinda vague and generic. But, each gnome has a knack, with different knacks out there …

Well, it just seemed fun!

The flashbacks for 8 are new. Only thought up that concept a couple months back. I find it convenient not to name Tia’s Teacher just yet, because now we have a parallel between Him and the Teacher — no names, just capitalized nouns/pronouns.

By the way, Teacher made certain to have Tia learn how to hide without her knack for a reason. Evie has no excuse about “knacks” defeating her back in “A Friendly Meeting Tale”.

Ain’t I a stinker?

A Note on Gnomish Reflections III

I have determined the Tale, “Past is Present”, simply will not do and have removed the post to minimize confusion and rereading.

I am working to revise it to fix various issues I have found. Nothing horrible, mind! In fact, I generally like it. I just feel the tone was off a bit and wish to bring it in line with what I want a Prim Tale to be.

I estimate 85% or so of what is written will remain untouched. It will likely grow by 2-3 pages.

Sorry for the mess, and thank you all! Cheerio!

Hue and Cry Tale

And here we have part two of Gnomish Reflections, “Hue and Cry Tale”. If you recall, we last left our intrepid gnomes lying, exhuasted, on their field of victory … or, at least, the floor of the resort’s lobby.

This Tale went on a few pages longer than expected. You have been warned.

Without further ado, we present Prim and Tia is Gnomish Reflections Part Two: “Hue and Cry Tale”.

….

….

….

….

Finished? Good, then it is …

Commentary time, with spoilers!

Okay, I actually have a LOT I can say about this one. A ton.

Firstly, I had no idea it was going to head toward where it did at the end. That part just sort of happened, as I realized the soon to be trilogy but possibly more story that is Gnomish Reflections (GR) could use a bit of a pop.

Also, it just seemed natural.

Moving on, the sequence of getting to the bathing hall was entirely unplanned from the beginning of scribing GR. However, seeing as part one had them in a filthy heap in the perfect resort, explanations had to be given. I fear it took longer than I would have preferred, but I hope it worked.

Ironically, I then took a short cut of leaving all their stuff in a corner. I had visions of Prim hiding her stuff at night when out in the wild, first seen in Gnomish Plunder Tale.

Meanwhile, the simple fact is the introduction of Välstånna (which was slated to occur in the next Tale) just BEGGED for a stretch of the two appearing entirely out of place. Which, let’s face it, they are. I was rather surprised Tia took the lead on this, and then quickly realized she would naturally dislike the typical dismissive outlook with which many of higher station view those of lower station.

I never knew she had so many phrases disparaging the upper crust.

Now, as for Välstånna herself, this is a character concept that has gone through many iterations and names. Years ago, I realized Prim could use someone who drove her nuts. Maybe a rival, maybe not quite a rival.

Her name took me ages to come up with. I had a perfect one … that was very similar to no fewer than three OCs belonging to friends. So, I scotched that. I thought to use a name I use in online games … And it really did not fit. I tried another online name I had seen … Okay, sure, it could work.

And then I decided to try an old trick and look for latin words for what the character represented. As you can see by the characters in her name, I switched to swedish rather than latin.

By the way, to type ä requires typing ALT-132, and å is ALT-134. Every time. WEEEEEEEE.

Her name I shall wait until after the next Tale to discuss.

Making her blonde was a surprise. I don’t know, I pictured her with dark hair. Then, once she got certain … increases in her body structure, blonde just sorta laid claim to her. I guess if you are going to go horribly stereotypically over the top, might as well go all in.

Did the lollipop make you want to smack it out of her hand, too?

Okay, I suppose I should get to the ending of this one. Yes, the two nearly kiss, and while they have played with each other (and with others at the same time) in bed before, there has always been a sort of “just having fun” aspect to it. The emotional connection has just not been there before.

I strangely – likely from dementia – imagine they actually have avoided smooching. Well, Tia would be the main culprit there.

So, I felt the scene would be appropriate because it was actual emotional intimacy. I went back in and adjusted it for Prim to use her prize line, just to bring back the old days of her constant pursuit of her Hot-Tits.

It was nice to see, at least.

Well, that should be enough blather for one post! We thank you for your time, and we hope you enjoyed the Tale!

Toss and Tumble Tale

This Tale has its origins … well, actually, that part has been pushed off to part two. So, nevermind the origins for now.

Yes, this is a multi-part Tale. At this point, it appears to be a trilogy, but it may not quite make it that far. Either way, it is called “Gnomish Reflections”.

We thought just “Reflections”, but decided to add the other word because why not.

Anyway, we present to you Prim and Tia in “Toss and Tumble Tale”. We hope you enjoy it!

Update: Fixed a reference to an older version of a name.

Commentary time!

Well, not much to say, really. The little idea blossomed mightily. Quite mightily. So much so, everything ended up being pushed into part two, “Hue and Cry Tale”, which has not yet been scribed.

The competition just sort of popped up. In plain fact, they were supposed to get another scene or two along in this part. However, the tussle between the pair just set up a perfect ending spot for our first act. Do you not agree?

Now, the competition may seem unusual for them — and it is. Because, as the notion popped up, I realized their usual competitions are more favored toward Prim. They tend to get into verbal tussles and engage in witty banter.

So, while I felt a bit out of place scribing their little duel when I began, I soon realized it was about time to see them engaged on Tia’s chosen field of battle.

Who won the race? That is explained in part two. You will simply have to wait!

Thank you for reading, and, again, we hope you enjoyed it! Cheerio!

A Friendly Meeting Tale

Our friend Evie meets up with Prim and Tia. Naturally, things take a turn for the … Well, read on and see!

We hope you enjoy “A Friendly Meeting Tale!” And do not forget to read my friend KatieD’s follow-up, “Turnabout is Fair(Fore?)Play”, now linked below!

….

….

….

….

Finished? Good! On to the blathering!

There are reasons why this Tale is longer than is usual. Yep. Reasons…

KatieD (obviously) provided help with the Tale, not the least sacrificing her character for the greater good, whatever that would be in this case.

For, apparently, a mutual friend sent her a playful text about scheduling an “appointment” with Prim and Tia for Evie. She shows me. Next thing I know, I’m scribing a Tale to match. Go figure, eh?

This one initially seemed good to end after the first part. If I had been scribing on my own, it would have. But then I got nudged to add in the second. Which ended about halfway from where it ultimately did. And I got nudged to include the arrival and descriptions of the festivities.

And so, rather than two pages, we get six.

Little things in this one cracked me up to scribe. I rather enjoyed Prim’s failed effort and her reaction, as if she had not just been naughty at all. Evie and Tia’s back and forth with the crop just sorta happened.

Well, that is probably enough blather for now. Cheerio from all of us!

Prim and Tia in “Never Dull Tale”

The seeds of this Tale were planted in a goofy little discussion on one of my friend Pliss’s streams at picarto.tv/callmeplissken

Often during his streams, Prim and Tia show up in the chat. There was a certain back and forth that caught my eye. I inquired into it, and though Tia was not particularly responsive, Prim had more than her fair share to say about it. Thus, after a month or so, the seeds blossomed into this Tale.

Unfortunately, I am a bit in haste due to upcoming travel, so the editing may not quite be up to the usual standards. That said, well, I just wanted to get the Tale out there for everyone to enjoy.

That being said: We hope you enjoy Prim and Tia in “Never Dull Tale”

Prim and Tia and Aly in “A Merry Kinkmas Tale”

Okay, a few days back, my good friend KatieD had some notion of every OC getting Aly a kinky gift for the Christmas holiday — or whatever it would be called in Rith. And then she managed to get bored earlier today [yesterday]. Well, at least “today” in when I scribed this Tale, rather than posted it, heh.

And me being me, suddenly this notion for a Tale popped into mind. Well, actually, it was a single notion, not anything more than a itty bitty spark. And then it grew as I scribed it. Go fig, eh?

So, I quickly scribed it for her. She seemed to enjoy it — she promptly wrote a (delightful) follow-up!

So, without further ado, we present Prim and Tia and Aly in “A Merry Kinkmas Tale!”

Link to follow-up by KatieD to be included when I get my mitts on it. 😛

Here it is!

Spooktacular Tale

Prim and Tia found themselves in a tavern with friends who were telling spooky stories for Halloween, 2020. Well, Prim had a spooky Tale of her own!

Note: This is part of a group author thing. The over-arching story is the friends telling stories in a tavern.

Without further do, we hope you enjoy Prim and Tia and Friends in “Spooktacular Tale”!

Okay, commentary fun times!

What could be spookier than tentacles? At least, according to Prim …

A friend bugged me to participate in this event. I immediately thought of an old Calvin and Hobbes comic strip where his parents open the door to reveal his babysitter, Rosalyn, and Calvin is running wildly away — the entire thing one panel. Only instead, it was Tia in a room stuck in the clutches of tentacles, and Prim running away screaming.

I wish I could find that strip. It was cute.

Anyway, that image stuck, but not much came of it for a while. A couple of weeks later (and some prodding and poking by Mad), and finally my Scriber’s brain kicked in. Of course, Prim would have to go face her fear to save her Hot-Tits.

Prim’s little weakness just sort of popped up. I felt after her uber performance overcoming her worst fears, she needed a fresh weakness to balance it out.

Actually, I wrote a version where she was super embarrassed at her secret being revealed. However, that meant she got knocked down a peg TWICE in one Tale, so that just felt too much.

Besides, I think this much hawter. Maybe that is just me, though.

We hope you enjoyed it! Cheerio! o/

All Is Fair Tale

Credit to my friend Menchi for inspiring this Tale!

This one just kinda popped out. Well, the general idea. Specifics came after a few hours of thought. And by specifics, I will explain after the Tale!

We hope you enjoy Prim and Tia and Friends in “All Is Fair Tale”!

Menchi has been working on a “Kinktober” series of pictures. They tend to inspire little blurbs of conversation between Prim and Tia. One of them, in particular, caught my imagination — it involved pet play with a girl dressed as a kitty. Thus, Tia-Kitty was born.

Kitty-Tits was a name idea that was rejected as being two-parts removed from the source. Tia -> Hot-Tits -> Kitty-Tits, you see.

Plus, funny as it is to say it … nah.

Anyway, I needed an outfit for Prim. That took some time. A chastity pic of Menchi’s had caught my eye, but how could I get that into the Tale?

Well, somehow, Lady Justice came into it, and I realized Tia could trick Prim … And boom, there ya go.

Tale scribed in a couple of hours, ready to roll.

We hope you enjoyed it!

Cheerio! o/

Prim and Tia in “Insufferable Tale”

Well, here is another Tale I scribed a while back. Looks like late October of 2018, by the time stamps.

This particular one I am posting because … reasons. I updated the formatting, adjusted a little, as usual. Commentary as ever below the Tale.

We hope you enjoy Prim and Tia in “Insufferable Tale”.

Okay, why am I posting this one now?

Something happened in a chat room this last weekend, and it just got me thinking about annoying characters, haha. I wish I could remember what it was. Nothing negative. Just … something.

I think it was friends needling another for missing a stream, telling wild tales of what happened — tales which may or may not be true.

Yeah, that was it, lol. It triggered me thinking of Prim being crazy and whatnot, which reminded me of this Tale I had already scribed. So, you lot get it. Yay, you.

As for the Tale itself: One day, I just realized Prim can be kind of annoying sometimes. — Ow! Well, it’s the truth! — Anyway …

Not a bad thing. Firstly, everyone has to have some faults or they are boring characters. — What? No, Prim, a split end does not count.

Ahem. If I recall (and it has been a couple of years, mind), I went on a kick of finding and highlighting Prim’s flaws and faults. She felt a bit too perfect, always getting out of trouble. — What? Perfect and what? Exquisite? Ah, right….

Well, the end results is I worked on finding flaws for Prim, lol.

Fortunately, of late, I am well over my “knock Prim down a peg” phase haha.

Anyway, we hope you enjoyed it! Cheerio! o/
